SPARE PARTS EXCHANGE PROGRAM
Zenith’s Spare Parts Exchange Program Requirements:
Customer’s core must be Guaranteed Economically Repairable and able to be certified and repaired to the condition of the original exchange unit that Zenith Aviation, Inc provides to the Customer.
Returned core must be same part number as exchange part number (like for like) provided to Customer by Zenith Aviation.
Zenith Aviation will determine what repair shop will be used to perform the repair or overhaul work that is required.
In the event the Customer’s core cannot be economically repaired, the Customer agrees to one of the following options:

-
Supply a replacement core within 5 days of notification of BER core. The Customer agrees to pay the repair facility’s evaluation fee plus all freight and handling charges for the replacement core.
-
Share in any excessive repairs cost in addition to the original exchange fee.
-
Pay the stated BER Price and have core returned RAI. The Customer agrees to pay the return shipping fees.
-
Pay the stated BER Price and have core scrapped. The Customer agrees to pay the repair facility’s evaluation fee and/or scrap fee, plus all freight and handling charges.
To be Guaranteed Economically Repairable the cost to repair/overhaul the core must not exceed 60% of the original exchange price.

All cores not received by Zenith Aviation Inc. by the Core Due Date referenced above will be subject to a daily late fee of 1% of the Exchange Price or $50, whichever is greater, until late core is received. All cores must be returned with Zenith Core Sheet completed as well as have documentation tracing the unit to an approved regulated source (Regulated Airline, Maintenance Facility or OEM) and a “non-incident” statement. Failure to provide this information may result in the non-acceptance of the core and result in the outright billing of the Outright Fee.
