Zenith Aviation, Inc. began as Stanford & Associates, a company with expertise in the marketing and sales of turbine-powered aircraft. From 1982 to 2001, Stanford & Associates were renowned for their expertise in aircraft sales, acquisitions, aviation financial analysis, tax implications, aircraft valuations, maintenance management, operational procedures, planning, and market forecasting.

In 2002, the senior management of Stanford & Associates seized a newly presented opportunity to enter the aircraft spare parts business, and Zenith Aviation, Inc. was formed. Concurrently, Zenith Aviation became a major player in the aviation center business when it assisted AvCraft Support Services in Myrtle Beach, SC, to purchase the production rights of Fairchild-Dornier GmbH, the then-bankrupt manufacturer of the Dornier 328 Jet and Turboprop models. Because of their role in this purchase, Zenith Aviation was awarded sole distributorship rights, from December 2002 until March 2005, for the remaining unsold Dornier 328 aircraft and a large quantity of spare parts. The alignment of Zenith Aviation and AvCraft Support Services provided corporate and regional airline operators a comprehensive range of services including aircraft sales, completions & modifications, and airframe and engine maintenance. During this time, Zenith Aviation successfully sold all of the remaining Dornier 328 models and emerged as an industry powerhouse in the Regional Aircraft Market.
By November 2007, Zenith Aviation had outgrown their 5,000 square foot warehouse and began construction on a new 34,000 square foot building. This new facility would house the corporate headquarters and provide an additional 20,000 square feet of warehouse space. They took occupancy in the late spring of 2008.
Shaping the Future of
In the summer of 2008, Zenith Aviation completed the implementation of their Quality Management System, and in September of that year earned their certification to both the AS9120 and ISO 9001:2008 quality standards. Zenith Aviation is committed to continuously improve their quality systems, and they are audited several times a year by their clients and at least once per year by their certifying body, National Quality Assurance (NQA). Zenith Aviation welcomes visits and/or quality audits from any of our clients!
By the middle of 2012, Zenith Aviation had nearly outgrown their space once again and underwent a nearly $3 million expansion, increasing the size of their secure, climate-controlled warehouse to 50,000 square feet. They also added innovative technology to improve storage capabilities and operational efficiency. Zenith Aviation is now proud to house an automated inventory storage and retrieval system that is unparalleled in the industry!
