The United States Coast Guard has extended the period of performance of three of our previously awarded multi-year Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts by one year. IDIQ contracts provide for an indefinite quantity of supplies or services during a fixed period of time. Each of these contracts require Zenith Aviation to provide parts to the Coast Guard which they use in the overhaul and repair of their MH-65 helicopter fleet at the Aviation Logistics Center in Elizabeth City, NC.
The ninety-eight MH-65 Dolphin helicopters operated by the Coast Guard are twin-engine helicopters used for medevac-capable search and rescue (SAR) and armed Airborne Use of Force missions. It is a variant of the French-built Eurocopter AS365 Dauphin.
